The Global Investment Unit of Pak Oman Investment Company Limited plays a vital role in promoting cross-border investment and enhancing economic cooperation between Pakistan and Oman.
As the only joint investment company with an international liaison office, Pak Oman distinguishes itself through a dedicated international presence, supported by a specialized team that works in close coordination with the Investment and Corporate Banking teams. This unique setup ensures the smooth facilitation of bilateral investments and effective execution of strategic initiatives.
The Unit's core responsibilities include identifying and promoting cross-border investment opportunities, facilitating government-to-government (G2G) and business-to-business (B2B) engagements, supporting institutional partnerships, and advancing strategic cooperation across key sectors.
The Unit also works closely with the Oman Investment Authority by presenting and referring eligible transactions for potential investment and strategic representation. Additionally, it serves as a supporting arm to Invest Oman, enhancing coordination and helping to realize transactions that are mutually beneficial and aligned with Oman’s.
