Certificate of Investment (COII) based on Mudarabah
A Certificate of Islamic Investment (COII) is a Shariah-compliant investment product offered by Pak Oman Investment Company Limited through its Islamic Finance Department (IFD). It provides individuals, corporates, and institutions with an opportunity to invest their surplus funds through halal investment avenues while benefiting from Pak Oman’s strong governance, professional expertise, and regulatory framework.
COII is structured according to Islamic finance principles, where investors’ funds are deployed in Shariah-compliant activities approved by Pak Oman’s Shariah Advisor. The investment follows approved Islamic modes such as Mudarabah and other permissible Shariah contracts, ensuring that income is generated through valid trade, investment, and asset-backed activities rather than interest (Riba).
Under the Mudarabah structure, investors participate as Rabb-ul-Maal (capital providers), while Pak Oman acts as Mudarib (investment manager). Profits are shared according to the agreed profit-sharing ratio, while any loss is distributed according to Shariah principles.
COII provides investors with a transparent, ethical, and professionally managed halal investment solution designed for those seeking stability, convenience, and Shariah assurance.
