His Highness Sayyid Juland Jaifar Salim Al Said has over 15 years of experience at the Oman Investment Authority (OIA) (Previously known as State General Reserve Fund), the largest sovereign wealth fund of the Sultanate of Oman in the areas of Private Equity, Real Estate, and Risk Management. He heads the Investment Risk & Assurance function at OIA and has played a significant role in the establishment of the Risk and Compliance function at SGRF in 2013, embedding a risk-based approach to all investment decisions and global risk standards to the investment process and management of the sovereign wealth. The royal decree by His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik dated June 8th, 2020, stipulated that all sovereign investments be under the ambit of OIA, inclusive of Pak Oman Investment Company Limited (“POICL”).



His Highness has served on the board of POICL and some of its subsidiaries since 2017. He has been appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company in 2021


Mr. Nauman Ansari

MD / CEO

Mr Nauman Ansari is a senior Finance and Banking professional with 30 years of multi-functional and varied experience gained at some of the leading global,  regional and local banking institutions including Standard Chartered Bank, Bank of America, ABN Amro and Fortis bank. His last two assignments were as President and CEO of Bank Alfalah Limited and Faysal Bank Limited. 

Mr. Ansari’s main areas of experience  are: Corporate and Investment Banking; Risk Management; Project Finance; Financial / Institutional Banking;  International Trade Finance and Credit Markets. 

Mr. Ansari has served on numerous Boards of Directors including Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance (PICG), Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OICCI) and Executive Committee of the Pakistan Banking Association(PBA). Currently Mr. Ansari is Independent Director / Chairman, Board of Directors of Parwaaz Financial Services Limited, Director Pak Oman Asset Management Company Limited and Orient Power Company Limited, Neo Holdings (Pvt) Limited & Shields REIT Management Company Limited.

Mr. Ansari is a graduate of Miami University, US


Mr. Al-Fadhal Abdallah Al-Omairi

Director - Pak Oman Investment Company Limited

Mr. Al-Fadhel Abdallah Al-Omairi is a finance professional with over 15 years of experience in financial and performance management, corporate governance, and strategic oversight. He currently serves as Financial Controller at Oman Investment Authority, where he has successfully led initiatives to strengthen financial controls, enhance performance management, improve reporting transparency, and drive operational efficiency.

Mr. Al-Fadhal Abdallah Al-Omairi also serves as a Board Member at Al Maha Ceramics Company SAOG and as an Audit Committee Member at Oman LNG LLC. As a Certified Board Member, he brings a strong blend of financial acumen and governance expertise, underpinned by a commitment to integrity, accountability, and sustainable value creation.


Mr. Mohammad Shabir Khan

Mr. Mohammad Shabir Khan is currently the CEO of Efigen Solar Energy, Pakistan. Mr. Khan’s career spans four decades in various CXO positions with global blue-chip corporations in the defence, space, financial, telecoms, consulting, and government sectors in the UK, Spain, Germany, Italy, Holland, Norway and Pakistan. He brings a wealth of experience in delivering innovative enterprise strategy and emerging-technology solutions for achieving sustainable business development, diversification, and transformation. Including ten-years as the Spanish representative on the $110B+ Eurofighter project with additional responsibility for diverse technology transfer to Spain just as Spain was joining the EU. He has established and managed high-tech greenfield operations in both developed and emerging markets. Pioneered Internet banking as early as 1999 with the largest global bank at the time and pioneered Mobile Payments as early as 2005 with Telenor Mobile (Oslo) as head of Group Operations/IT Strategy. He is a Sloan Fellow of London Business School and a graduate in Computer Sciences.


Al Ayham Al Ghassani

Director - Pak Oman Investment Company Limited

Mr. Al Ayham Al Ghassani has over 12 years’ diversified experience varied from Oil downstream counter to financial & banking Services field. His academic qualification is extensively thought in the areas of Oil & Gas Engineering and Business Economics studies. He started his career journey at Shell Oman Marketing over a span of 3 years, managing the logistics activities through a full circle of supply chain operations. Then, he played a major role over the optimization of planning & execution orders related to the consumers side. After that, He worked in BankDhofar for a total of 9 years mainly in the Corporate finance department.

He contributed to numerous number of national financed projects led by local & international banks, focusing at the big scale of infrastructure projects. Also, he did a lending part at the small & medium enterprises projects and walked though their difficulties and challenges. Currently, Mr. Al Ayham Al Ghassani is working in the Economic Diversification Investments looking after the national assets launched by government in order to thrive the local economy and meet the national objectives.


Mr. Muhammad Asif

Director - Pak Oman Investment Company Limited

Mr. Muhammad Asif is a dedicated senior civil servant with over two decades of diverse experience in the fields of good governance, public policy formulation, public administration, law enforcement, infrastructure development, institution building and revenue collection. He has studied public policy, economic reasoning, leadership, and conflict resolution from known figures in these areas like Professor Larry Summers, Professor Michael Ignatieff and Professor Meghan O’Sullivan during his course of studies at Harvard Kennedy School of Government, Harvard Law School (USA) and LKY School of Public Policy (Singapore). He has done Masters in Public Management from these institutions as Joint-Degree Program.

During his public sector experience in Ministry of Finance and Revenue, Ministry of Communication (National Highway Authority), Ministry of Industries and Production, and Pakistan Customs, he has acquired skills in Financial Management, Revenue enhancement, legal acumen, corporate sector governance, restructuring of public sector entities, and team building. He has also served on the Boards of Directors of various public sector companies and acquired corporate governance experience.

Syed Mohammad Shoaib Omair

Group Head Human Resources & Administration

Syed Mohammad Shoaib Omair is a highly experienced Human Resource professional with over 30 years of experience in the manufacturing and financial sectors. He has a wealth of expertise in managing human resource operations and developing and implementing effective HR strategies.

Mr. Omair has held senior HR positions at several prominent companies, including JS Bank Limited, Habib Bank Limited, Credit Agricole Indosuez Group, and Siemens Pakistan Engineering Company Limited. He began his career in HR as a Trainee Officer at Siemens Pakistan Engineering Company Limited and has since built a successful career in the field, working his way up to the Head of Human Resources role at JS Bank Limited.

In addition to his wealth of experience, Mr. Omair holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Karachi University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Adamson University, Philippines. He also holds a diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counseling from CPPD (UK) Ltd. Throughout his career, Mr. Omair has continuously expanded his knowledge of the HR field by attending numerous workshops and seminars related to human resource management and leadership.


Mr. Syed Salman Raza Naqvi

Chief Risk Officer

Syed Salman Raza Naqvi has over 23 years of professional banking and financial institution experience in Risk Management, Credit Control, Finance, and Audit. He holds a Master’s in Banking and Finance and is a Certified Director. Before joining Pak Oman, Salman worked with PAIR Investment Company and IGI Investment Banking in a Senior Level position in the Risk Management Department of IGI Investment Bank; he is associated with Bank Al Habib Ltd and Paramount Leasing Limited.


Mr.Tasadduq Aslam

Head of Treasury

Mr. Tasadduq Aslam has been with Pak Oman Investment Company Limited since 2002 and has over 22 years of experience in the field of treasury. Prior to joining POIC, he has worked in treasury areas with different financial institutions. His pragmatic approach and drive to excel coupled with a strong commitment to prudent treasury management has transformed POIC treasury into an active and effective team in the banking industry. Further he has attended numerous Treasury management and Leadership trainings.

Mr. Aslam holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Karachi.


Ms. Nadia Ishtiaq

Head of Investment Banking and Private Equity

Nadia Ishtiaq heads the Investment Banking and Private Equity department at Pak Oman Investment Company Limited. Ms. Ishtiaq is a seasoned Investment and Corporate Banker with a rich and diversified experience of over 21 years in Equity and Advisory, Syndications, Debt Capital Markets, and Project Finance. Her diversified career in the financial industry is marked by significant achievements, such as re-establishing the Corporate Finance Department at KTrade Securities Limited and leading high-profile, ‘first of its kind’, landmark transactions for Corporates, SMEs/Startups and the Government of Pakistan.

Ms. Ishtiaq has also served on the Listing Committee of Pakistan Stock Exchange as an Industry Expert. She has also been instrumental in launching E-IPO in Pakistan.

She holds an ACCA qualification, a BSc in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes, and is a Certified Accounting Technician from UK.


Mr. Muhammad Yousuf Amanullah

Chief Financial Officer

Muhammad Yousuf Amanullah is a seasoned finance and operations leader with over 20 years of diverse professional experience. He is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) with expertise in strategic planning, financial management, and operational oversight.

With an impressive professional journey, Mr. Yousuf has accumulated a wealth of experience in diverse areas such as Accounts & Financial Management, Strategic Planning, Risk Analysis, Control Assessment, and Financial Analysis. He has held key executive positions, including Director at Unity Foods Limited, Chief Operating Officer at JS Global Capital Limited and Chief Financial Officer at JS Bank Limited. Prior to these roles, he served in senior capacities at A.F.Ferguson & Co. (AFF) Chartered Accountants, a member firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers.

He is known for his ability to drive organizational growth, expand shareholder value, and, importantly, ensure compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks. His strategic vision and leadership have been pivotal in achieving the business objectives of the organizations he has served.
At JS Bank Limited, where he was the Chief Financial Officer, Yousuf played an instrumental role in merger activities and capital raising. His experience spans various sectors, including banking, brokerage, and investment banking, with a strong focus on risk analysis, compliance, and stakeholder management.


Syed Abdullah Jamal Ahmed Naqvi

Head of Internal Audit

Mr. Abdullah Jamalis a Fellow Member of Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan and an Associated Member of Pakistan Institute of Public & Finance Accountants. He is also a member of Institute of Certified Internal Control Auditors (CICA) besides holding MBA degree in Finance from University of Karachi. With over 22 years of professional experience, he was previously associated with Habib Bank Limited and Riaz Ahmad, Saqib, Gohar & Co. (Chartered Accountants), and has served in the capacities of Head of Compliance and Head of Internal Audit at Pak Oman Investment Company Limited earlier.


Mr. Sajjad Arif

Head of Compliance

Mr. Sajjad is a qualified Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and has been carrying out various professional engagements relating to Compliance, Internal Audit, Business restructuring & Financial Control successfully in his professional career spanning over 15 years. During his affiliation with various Banking & Non-Banking organizations; his work included development of Compliance Manuals, Internal Audit framework & checklists, Tax planning & management, financial & management audits, trainings relating to compliance & corporate governance and similar other professional financial & controls related engagements.

Sajjad’s international exposure includes development of Corporate & Compliance frameworks & execution of various audit & assurance assignments in USA, UAE, Bahrain, Singapore, Oman & Qatar.


Ms. Haajra Jafri

Ms. Haajra Jafri is an MBA in Finance. She has over 12 years of experience in the Corporate Secretariat. She started her career from Pak Oman Investment Company Limited and served in the Corporate Affairs Department for around 10 years. she also worked with Askari Life Assurance Company Limited as Company Secretary.


Mr. Aijaz Ahmed Siddiqui

Mr. Aijaz Ahmed Siddiqui brings over 20 years of IT expertise. Since joining the company in 2012, he has been instrumental in implementing key systems, managing IT infrastructure, and ensuring unwavering regulatory compliance. His experience includes leading IT roles at NBP Leasing Limited (NBPLL) and National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA), He believes in harnessing the power of technology to solve complex problems and create opportunities for innovation. He is passionate about staying ahead of industry trends and continuously seeking ways to enhance our technological capabilities.
